Our Friends of Meols Park community group are winners of the Wirral News Champion Team of the Year Award for 2009

Safety Lights Now Working!!

After 18 years of being in the dark….. the School Safety Warning Lights have at last been wired up to work. The 2 sets of lights, one by the entrance to Meols Park Playarea and the other set on Dovepoint Road (opposite Meadowcroft Road) were erected all those years ago but where never connected to the electric supply.

Now, thanks to Roy ,secretary of the Friends of Meols Park, along with Esther, chairman of the Friends group and local councillor Gerry Ellis, the lights are fully functional and will hopefully make motorists aware of our childrens safety.
