Our New Park Play Area is a great success and is packed with families on a daily basis.
We have made fantastic progress in saving and refurbishing the Meols Park Play Area. We do however, still need to fundraise as we have a small shortfall of funds to restore the old park benches and we also want to install balance beams and another kiddies springer, along with a Park Mosaic. So please do support us in our cause to enable us to complete the Park Refurbishment.
With this in mind we are having our Park Celebration Day on Sunday 6th September 12-5pm when we will hopefully raise some of the funds that are needed.
The Celebration Day is being organized to give the local community th e opportunity to mark the opening of the new play activities for children situated in Great Meols Park.
It will allow the community and Wirral Council to celebrate the successful working partnership thats been formed and acknowledge the effort contributed by each to improve the lives of the local children
We are having a large marquee which will be used for live music by musicians from near and far and various other attractions such as the setting up of a Viking village ,Donkey Rides, events, punch and judy, face painting, mini soccer football tournament, crazy bull, bouncy castle, refreshments etc.... We will also have the Wirral Play Rangers in attendance to organise childrens games etc.
If you can help out on the day, please contact us asap.....
