The 'Go Green' Penguin that was in Liverpool's Williamson Square is in pride of place in our our Play Area...
Our Mosaic Project involved over 100 local Children in 3 separate workshops. The Installation Work is Now Complete

Succesful Funding Applications

1st February 2008
Today we have received an award cheque for £1,250 from the Wirral Primary Care Trust Communitie

8th February 2008
We have been awarded £5,000 from The Wirral Partnership Homes and Wirral Council Communities Funding Scheme.

23rd December 2008
Today we have received verbal confirmation from Wirral
Partnership Homes and Wirral Council, that we have been successful in our
application for an award of £4,700 to improve the football
kickabout area in the park. This will include mew goalposts,
levelling of the playing area and artificial grasspads in both
goal areas.

27th February 2009
Today we have had a verbal confirmation that we have been successful in our final stage 2 application to the Big Lottery Community Spaces Fund and that we are being awarded the full £24,975 which will be put towards the cost improving of Meols Park Recreation Play area. Work is due to start sometime in March 2009 and is being done in conjuction with Wirral Council Parks and Leisure department development plan.
The park is to be enlarged and will also have new play equipment installed.

4th March 2009
We received an award of £940 from Wirral Council's Community Inititiave Are Fund.
This award was to purchase and install a display cabinet in the Park

June 2011
We have received an award of £2,500 from the 'Your Wrral' Fund. This is to go towards the creation and installation of a Mosaic Feature in the Play Area.
