2010 Meols Park Events

Following the successful events of 2009 and much positive local community feedback, we have decided to hold 2 main events in Meols Park during 2010.

The first will be a Meols Park Carnival Day on Sunday 5th September 2010 and will entail Childrens fairground rides,punch and Judy,Donkey Rides,Live Music etc.. The event will be from 12 noon through to 6pm

The second Event is a Fun & Firework Display on Sunday 7th November 2010. This will start from 1pm through to 7.30pm and there will be the usual childrends rides,food,refreshments,beer and mulled wine.
We hope to start the display at 6.30pm but The Firework Display time is approximate only, as it depends entirely on weather and crowd conditions at the time ,due to ongoing H & S Assessments during the day.
We advise for best viewing areas to arrive before 6pm and no viewing will be permitted from Mumfords Lane. Viewing Areas are School Lane/Dovepoint Road and Meols Park itself. (Field and Play Area Side)

To ensure these events run smoothly we do require volunteer helpers and would appreciate people contacting us as soon as possible.
